Trivium-the 3 subjects taught in Medieval schools -Grammar,Rethoric and logic (dialect)
Logic is concerned with the thing as-it-is-known
Grammar is concerned with the thing-as-it-is-symbolized
Rhetoric is concerned with the thing-as-it-is-communicated
